After the new president of Ecuador takes office. About two months later. The actions of more than 20 organized crime gangs and mafia members increased after the escape of several leaders of these gangs, one of the most important being Adolfo Macías, alias “Fito”, head of the main criminal gang known as Los Choneros, from the prison. This criminal leader was serving a 34-year sentence. Criminals began to take control of the streets. Taking over television channels, killing police officers and kidnapping them to record extortion videos directed at the president. These terrorists also kill students, creating chaos in Ecuador.
