Dumb guy for sure, but Jim Van Bebber made a pretty good short on what happened. Back then, JVB was one of the most promising new director of " underground extreme horror " cinema. He bacame an alcoholic and spent all the money he made on beer and drugs, unfortunately.
He directed and produced a full length movie " The Manson Family " that he started shooting in 1988 and finally managed to complete the movie after 15 years in the making. This make for a very unbalanced film especially the acting, it's not bad, but not fantastic either. You wanna watch one of his full lenght try Deadbeat At Dawn, a great gory action film ala The Warriors. He did all the stunts which is amazing

Van Bebber is playing Ricky Kasso, that he called Ricky Kasslin for the movie, not sure why.
